Omurice and other bentos for October =p

Todays lunch and bento dinner are Omurice, I had to stray a little from the recipe because of what I had on hand in the fridge.

1 celery stick
Small handful carrot sticks
2 small red radishes
15oz can chopped tomatoes drained (used a teaspoon of the juice)
1 cheesey weiner snitzhel cut up into small peices
1 cup sticky white rice
1 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon sake
1/2 teaspoon mirin
1/4 piece onion
Vegtable oil as needed
2 eggs

Cut up the onion into small peices and saute until transluscent.
Add your meat (cause not everyone likes chicken all the time =p) and stir for a few moments until its brown. Add veggies next along with the whole can tomatoes and 1 tablespoon ketchup. Mix well until everything is blended and the liquid is no longer on the bottom of the pan.

Set asside on plate and mix together two eggs. Put in liberal amount of oil and make an omellete by stiring until the bottom of the liquidly egg is almost firm and let cook for a few moments until the whole egg is done.

Dump the rice onto the egg, fold egg over and plop onto a plate. Garnish with ketchup on top.

Though my Omurice isn't an original its what I had on hand and what I felt like putting in it.
